It appears like my drive can only go as slow as 8x when it comes to CD-R images (which is my first problem) I tried two different brands of media, Sony and HP. The first layer plays fine but when it gets to the layer change it freezes and wont play. Looking through these forums I have checked the book type of the discs and the first layer shows as a DVD+R DL and the second as a DVD-ROM. Is this the problem?
